Bodium Castle was a high light today. We all enjoyed exploring the spiral stair cases and peering through the battlements. Could feel a real sense of history - would be a tough life living in those days.
Finished the day with a pub meal with great company - good conversation and lots of laughs.

Looks like you are having a great time, wish I was there. The weather here has turned really cold. Got your text messages. I was talking to Jan and John yesterday, will forward this blog to them. Anyway have lots of fun and remember Ella get dad to take lots and lots of photos so we can put a scrapbook together when you get back.

Thanks for text messages Christina - will reply at some stage. Highlanders lost in Queenstown Saturday and this weekend it is Crusaders in Dunedin.
