We catch the overnight train to Sapa tonight, so are just cruising this morning. We will spend the afternoon exploring Hanoi, trying not to be run over by motorbikes. First impressions are that it is busy, noisey and dirty. Tiny wee shops with stuff everywhere. As we walked last night we had to step around groups havinig their meal on the road side. We can watch everyday life from our hotel window - amazing.

Temperature here a mild 28 degrees - blue sky, sea fantastic and no rice whatsoever. Seen any rice morrocas????
Wall looks stunning and boy, wish I was swimming in water like that guy....though water here is bloody cold. Lucky you aren't here cause don't think a wimp like you would be able to cope!!!
Long drop nearly full - but we have left a space for you.
Keep on rocking.
Ceebee, Nette, Cam, Char, Al Bundy, Lorenzo, Michelle, cat, dog, 2 frogs, strange things at bottom of long drop.... and Paul, tho he has since scarpered back to city at whim of latest ball and chain.
The panda looked so cute and the Great Wall looked amazing. It was very unusual not having you here at new year. We performed a dance but it wasn't very good and we really needed your dancing and coreography skills to help us. Hope your having a wonderful time in China.
It's not the same without you..... We will tell you all about what we did when you get back.
lots of love from Charlotte,Jana
and Abby.
