Around London

Woke to another morning with clear blue skies but sadly it didn't last.  Cloud cover for most of the rest of the day, and the ever present cold wind.  Ella went off to Fulham to co-teach her gym class and we walked to Kensington High Street.  Saw lots of interesting buildings along the way, including the Olympia Exhibition Centre.  Not sure what was happening, but they were setting up for something big.  The blossoms are getting prettier by the day and the streets are looking very pretty.
Once Ella was back, we met her friend Anya for lunch at the Westfield Mall.  I shopped with the girls and David had a mini adventure on a Lime Bike.
We then went into the city to St Dunstan in the East garden.  The original church was rebuild after the fire of London only to be destroyed during the blitz.  It has been left in its damaged state and a garden has been developed around the ruins.  The spring flowers were just starting to come out and it was a small piece of tranquility very close to the Tower of London.  We also visited All Hallows by the Tower, the oldest church in London, with amazing crypt under ground.  Original parts of the old Roman roads have been discovered, along with ancient artefacts and paintings.  Supposedly the most tranquil place in the city of London.
From there we travelled by tube to Camden Town to the market.  What a fabulously eclectic mix of people and food, along the edge of the canal.  It was a great place to get dinner - shame it wasn't warmer though.
Finally back to Ella's place at dusk, with sore feet and feeling decidedly weary.

I hope your air b&b was ok when you saw it in daylight. I can see David will be riding lime scooters when he returns hope. He’s getting plenty of oractice while on holiday
