Left London early this morning and after a great flight arrived in Madrid. A new country for us!
After a metro trip and lugging our bags up and down a few flights of stairs we finally arrived at the apartment. Craig, Annette and Charlotte had just arrived and how great it was to see them.
Great place we are staying- right in the centre of town amongst the street life!
Tapas for dinner and off a walk around Parque Del Buen Retiro. Ella and Charlotte went off window shopping, the ladies went to the laundromat and the boys did their bit by going our for a hard earned beer at a tiny bar on the corner.

Glad you arrived safely. Don't know Madrid well but it looks really interesting. Ella us becoming the avid traveller. Well done
