After meeting Ella again, we went to Truth Cafe with two of her friends, Anya and Bertie. The cafe was very cute, not at all like one of the chain restaurants that seem to be everywhere. Delicious ciabatta toasted sandwiches and a very good hot chocolate. The girls say that they like to explore different places, and this one was a gem.
David and I managed to find our way to the Westfield Mall to purchase a local SIM card. It is the biggest mall in the Northern Hemisphere and easily has more shops than the whole of Dunedin. I guess it would be a great place to while away the hours on a cold, miserable winters day. We were there early but I can image that it would get really busy.
This afternoon we caught the underground into the city centre and one to Covent Garden and Neal's Yard. It was a small 'courtyard' area with colourful buildings and see quaint shops. The city was pretty busy, but still interesting. As with most places, there are roadworks and construction everywhere.
Made it back to Bolingbrook Road in time for dinner and an early night. Jet lag is alive and well!

The weather sounds just like here. Blue skies and cold wind. I am enjoying reliving some of London from when we lived there. You will be very fit at the end of your trip from all your activity. Keep safe.
