Back to London.....

Made it safely back to London and the journey through the airport was a breeze.  Collected Ella's car from the long stay carpark and an easy, but slow drive home - way easier than having to use public transport.
Spent the rest of the day doing really exciting stuff like washing, dog walking and organising dinner.
Yesterday morning we went into Borough Food Market, which is located under London Bridge.  What a treat of sights and delicious smells.  Bought a crusty loaf of ciabatta which tasted as good as it looked.  Also had the most delicious and over the top decedent hot chocolate.  Will have to get another one so that we can photograph it.
Back home to enjoy our crusty bread and humus and then pottered about the local community.  Took the dogs for a walk in the park and even since we went to Iceland, the spring growth has become more evident.  Weather was pretty good with patches of blue sky and even some sunshine. There a Lime hire bikes everywhere and David treated himself to a ride.
This morning Ella went to a gym class in Oxford Street and we managed to tube our way into the city and met her at Knightsbridge.  A trip to Harrods which is as over the top as we remember and a stroll around the local Knightsbridge streets then to meet Ella's friend Molly for a coffee/hot chocolate.  Weather was threatening rain but we managed to get home without getting wet.
Bit of a drama going on with a leaking pipe that needs to be repaired before we go away for Easter.  David tried some Kiwi ingenuity without success.  Plumber is supposed to be here this afternoon, so fingers crossed.
Will take the dogs for a walk/drag around the park before we head off to see Jersey Boys tonight.  Always love the chance to see a show or two while in London.
