The Lakes by Yoo...

Jersey Boys was a great show -  couldn't help but come out with feet tapping and smile on your face.  It was fun to be out at night an experience a little of the vibe of a big city.
Yesterday morning we packed up the dogs and the Range Rover (yes really!) and drove to the southern edge of the Cotswolds, via a stop in Windsor, to the family's country house.  Loved the drive as we never get tired of the English countryside or the villages and towns along the way.  We are staying in a new development called The Lakes by Yoo that is near a pretty wee village called Lechlade.  The house is unbelievable and we are feeling very spoilt to be able to stay in such and amazing place. We also have access to a coupe of e-bikes and David has been out to see some local sites already.  It really does feel a bit like we are living in a parallel life.  Just to add to the pleasure, the sun is shining and yesterday was a balmy 15 degrees.  Today is looking to be the same.
Last night was topped off by watching a movie, in the theatre room, on the giant television!
Ella has left to pick up her school friend, Josie, and partner, who are also staying the night.  David and I are about to cycle to Lechlade to meet them all there and to have a look at the local Christmas shop and another called The Cat's Pyjamas - sounds like my sort of place.
