California here we come!

At the airport ready to head off to the US.  We are travelling with Craig and Annette in our quest to finally see Van Morrison live in Vegas.  I am heading over a couple of days early to see if I can do any ice skating in the Eastern Sierra region.  I meet the others in San Francisco in a few days then do a bit of sight seeing on the way to Vegas.  The unknown is the winter weather (or lack of it in some places) which may govern where we can go.
