Did a bit of site seeing as I made my way back to where I am staying. I also learnt that you can't stop some places to take a photo! I had pulled right off the road and was out amongst the rocks when I noticed a patrol car behind the parked rental. Got back and found a nice yellow warning sticker stuck to the back window.
I plan on heading out of the mountains early tomorrow to avoid the storm and to stay somewhere within easy reach of San Fransisco. Looking forward to meeting Chaz, Craig and Annette on Friday.
